Aria the Natural 25-26 [End]

Last of the last, the ending just kills me! I noticed how they rushed the introduction of most of the characters whilst changing or adding random characters into scenes that they don't play much roles in. I find that slightly disheartening since I do follow the manga avidly.
On the other hand, viewers who probably never heard of the manga would be able to enjoy this leisurely as it doesn't create much impact other than to speediate the introduction of the characters. Meh... Not going to talk too much. Onwards march to the cut....
P.S. Credits to HnK and CrystalNova for being the only two subbers who were dedicated to this series from the very beginning.
Aria the Natural 22-24

2nd to last... I'm almost at homerun! Speaking of homerun.... the soccer picture drama was perhaps, one of my favorite picture dramas as it features the trio (Akari, Aika, Alice) doing something that isn't Venice/Undine related. XD
Anyway, on to the cut for more Aria the Natural!
Credits to HnK and CrystalNova for bringing us these wondrous seasons.
Aria the Natural 19-21

Fufufufufufu, just two more blog posts to go or so. I wish there was more Aria, nya!
In fact, I wish there was more Aria manga.... I feel like we should have Ai-chan star in her own version of Aria. That would be awesome ^^
On to the cut to ignore me being so mellowdramatic.
P.S. Credits to HnK and CrystalNova for bringing us these wonderful seasons.
Aria the Natural 16-18

Urgh! A few more to go... Then I can rest. Speaking of which, does anyone know any place in Malaysia where I can get the Aria OSTS? I really am fond of anything Aria. The problem is finding a place which supplies my desires. And I'm quite a cheapskate. XP
I do however, have collected the entire Aria collection. Thanks to bittorent, googling and well, awesome anime fans out there!
Anyway, on to the cut!
P.S. Credits to HnK and CrystalNova for providing us these wonderful subbed episodes.
Aria the Natural 13-15
Aria the Natural 10-12

More more, gimme more!
Speaking of which, I am absolutely in love with Aria shachou.
I saw a plushie of Aria shachou, hand stiched and sold in Singapore back two years ago.
Pity I couldn't get my hands on it (no cash, plus no credit card).
If anyone owns this lucky plushie of my love (as in Aria shachou = love interest), please do send me instructions on how you handstiched him. XD
On to the cut~!

Aria the Natural 07-09

Has anyone ever noticed that besides the picture change, there's also extra features I added to the blog? There's now Twitter which is available on the right hand side of the side bar. New updates are added there and if anyone is interested, they can always follow this blog's twitter feeds. And up above is my music jukebox. I intend to change it almost every month with new songs. Request are acceptable too btw!
Anyway, enough ranting... On to the CUT!
P.S. Credits to Hnk and CrystalNova for bringing us these wonderful seasons!
Aria the Natural 04-06

I'm intending to get through most of this second season's show for fans.
This is going to be fun... LOL... *stares at another side of the blog*
On other news, I decided to spruce the articles for the Aria anime entries. I realize just words and following the cut just doesn't cut it after a while.
So, here are photos at the top of every entry to amuse you! XD
Follow the cut!

Aria the Natural 01-03

I actually posted this entry a minute ago but couldn't find videos on the net to support it. Sheesh. ^^; Took me like a while to find any.
Anyway, listening to Eri Kawai's memorial album has made me starve for more Aria goodness. Seeing as which I'm in such an Aria mood, I thought I might as well upload more videos for fans to watch.
Remember to support the artist by getting the animation DVD. I intend to, and I hope you do too.
Videos do not belong to me, btw. I only leeched em off whichever hosting site I get to.
P.S. Credits goes to HnK and CrystalNova for bringing us these wonderful seasons.
NOW, chase after ze cut...
Sora Kake Girl: A Review
Ah, Sora wo Kakeru Shoujo has finally came to an end now. Another wonderful show done by Sunrise. To be honest, the show was never something that I would have preferred to watch. In fact, I made it a point NOT to watch the show because I felt that Sunrise would be better off, devoting all their time to my all-time favorite shoujo-ai show, the Mai- (or My-) series. It wasn't until two weeks ago, out of boredom, that I decided to watch the show.

Aria the Animation 09-12 [End]

Woots. First season and it's over!
To be honest, I always felt the first season was way too short.
This was kinda made up in the 2nd season with double the amount of Aria goodness but...
They ALSO crammed Aria the Origination aka 3rd season into 13 episodes.
TOO SHORT!
We just need more Aria... T_T *wails*
Anyway, ignoring the above... ONTO the CUT!

As promised, I'm presenting you the first season in the Aria series, Aria the Animation.
I'd probably be able to upload almost all the vides for the Aria series today. Most of the videos would either be in Megaupload or other file viewing. So, as NOT to clutter the page, please follow the cut below to the videos.
Each entry would have 3 videos from the series. Please do enjoy the show! ^^
P.S. I'm thinking of uploading the manga as well as the soundtracks.... Do give me your views on it.

Aria
Formerly known as Aqua in the first two books, it focuses on an Undine (gondolier) from Aria Company, Mizunashi Akari and her adventures. The book is like a passage of life as we see Akari maturing from when she first started in the company to her graduation. Along the way, are her adventures with the supernatural and Cait Sith, her friends and their thoughts of life; and the spectacular view of Venice.

One of the very few things that drew me to the manga was the slow pace of the book. Whilst many of my friends felt that the story was quite mundane and too slow, I could see it's similiarities with YKK (Yokohama Kaidashi Kiko). It's the journey through life with it's ups and downs that appeals to me. The storyline is unique and touching to the heart.
Another thing that I love most is the gorgeous sceneries that Aqua and Aria introduces us to. The sceneries are based on real-life locations. In fact, for the anime production, the team made visits to Venice several times to photograph and capture the sceneries. Throughly an amazing production.

The songs are soothing and calming. Akari's seiyuu, Erino Hazuki has done several of the op/ed. I don't really fancy her voice but it has come out remarkable. Round Table feat. Nino lend their jazz, blue-ness voice to the compilation. I have to admit that they often make me cry whenever I hear their songs being blasted in the show. Then, there's Makino Yui. She is an amazing singer who manages to capture the life and essence of Aria. Finally, a very criticized group Sonorous! Sonorous sang for the Aria the Arietta OVA and many criticized the nature of the song, saying it doesn't have any resemblance to previous works done for the Aria animation series. I would have to say that I disagree with them. The Sonorous team has done an amazing job. Their song reminds me of Gedo Senki's theme song. Soothing, calming, and simple. It's a splendid piece of work that deserve praises.
A MUST not forget is Eri Kawai, the seiyuu singer for Athena Glory's voice. She has contributted much to the series. The R.I.P. singer composed two of my favourite songs, Barracole and Coccolo. Though giberish, the melody just captures my attention. Simply amazing.

The color used in the animation and manga are soothing. Depictions of the underwater sea comes out perfect that it renders readers like myself, crying as I watch or read it. Not being too dramatic in my descriptions, I have to say that Aria touches my heart. Everything about it means something to me. My dream is to collect every manga (Japanese/English), and dvd collection that is available out there. It's simply one of the best.
I'd be uploading videos of the animation later. Hopefully the complete set. ^^;

Self Introduction
Akari Yumeji-desu!
Ohayou gozaimasu, minna-san!
I'm a dedicated Japoholic who's crazy about yaoi. Fangirlism is my middle name. I have a seperate blog which I use to angst about life. (Life hates hikkikomoris like me
) But I'm alright because I will survive! XD
This entire blog can be considered a dump spot for my comments and critiques regarding anime/manga. I'd be dedicating my time to analyzing other people's posts (since I'm awfully late at getting information). Do bare with my rants and criticisms.
Another thing is that I will be uploading videos onto this blog. Most of them are anime or Japanese dramas that I am interested in. It's a way for me to keep myself updated with the latest stuffs without having to fuss about re-finding the websites I've visited before. One stop shop, I suppose?
The next update will be tomorrow where I will post one of my favorite series on the blog. Aria.
